Since 2003, word has been spreading about Blue Moon Society. Whether it’s the emotional drive of the music, the powerful sound or the blistering musicianship, people have been talking.

Blue Moon Society is a blues trio with a hard-rocking edge. The sound is very dynamic and could be described in terms of contradictions: tight yet loose, individual yet collaborative, simple yet complex. In the case of Blue Moon Society, there’s no contradiction. The band just rocks.

Blue Moon Society has opened for national touring acts, such as Michael Burks and served as the backing band for 2007 BMA Best Contemporary Female Blues Artist nominee Barbara Blue, during her first Northwest tour.

While influenced by the sounds of Albert King, Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Joe Bonamassa and many others, the band has a sound all its own. From classic jump blues to hard-rocking originals, Blue Moon Society lays it down.

The band is currently recording a full length cd, due out 2008. Check back often for updates.
